Talk with your kid

Your kid is internalizing a way of thinking, not just clicking buttons. Use these prompts at dinner or in the car:

  • Ask them to walk you through a plan they wrote. The plan is the thing β€” let them point at each step.
  • Ask: "What did the robot do that surprised you? What would you change?" The answer tells you whether they're building intuition.
  • When they finish a group, ask them to name the "superpower" they just learned. That habit of naming is what real engineers do too.
